Penny Black Saturday Challenge – December 2025

Hello and welcome

I’m back with the new Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday December Challenge!  The theme  is  Anything Goes (Optional – Snow or Snowmen!

Once again, I chose a cute image and a great addition to my Christmas card stash.

My card features images from PB- Cozy Nights set.

I also stamped the smaller image from PB – Peaceful Winter set for the background trees

Almost 5 weeks ago I fainted and broke my collarbone, but after 2 weeks it wasn’t aligning so 2 weeks ago I had surgery! So one arm crafting had to be simply and easy! Typing (pecking) on computer was another challenge! 🙂

Please head over to our blog to  check out the wonderfully inspirational work by the rest of the Design Team!  I hope you will find the time to join our challenge this month.

I look forward to seeing what you create!  Good luck!

Time Out #303

Hello and welcome

Challenge #303

Photo Credit: Ishani. Dharamsala, India. Date 16 Apr 2024

Our wonderful sponsor is  Birch Press Designwith a generous offer of a $20 store credit as a prize for our Challenge Winner, who will also be invited to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.

We are joined by Trina Pham of Phamtastic Design, and winner of Time Out #298 as Guest Designer. Trina is a very talented designer and we are thrilled to have her with us for this challenge.

As I looked at Ishani’s beautiful photo I was drawn to the rich golds and inticate patterns on thier stunning sarees. I feel Gold always adds to the elegance and makes things even more special! So I decided to use a embossing folder from Craft Cocepts – In Bloom. It was emboosed first on a deep cream cardstock and then on white.

Next the raised impression was rubbed with Brilliance Galaxt Gold ink pad to give some shine and highlight the delicate floral pattern. Sadly the shine doesnt show up well on the photos. So pretty IRL!

A scalloped edge die was cut from gold cardstock using MFT edge die.

This was added to the bottom of the darker panel before being added to the white panel .

The sentiment is Spellbinders die cut and SSS Believe stamp set!.

For my card this time I chose some of the elegant images and sentiments from Pink Fresh “Deck the Halls” stamp set. I just love it!

Our wonderful sponsor is TopFlightStamps They’re generously offering a $25 store credit!!

I chose this little PB – ‘Fairy Festive ‘Christmas fairy for my card today.

After stamping onto a die cut from Spellbinders -‘ Captivating Squares Nestabilities set’, the image was Distress watercoloured. Then lots of Nuvo glitter was added to the fur on her outfit. Sadly, not all the glittery details show up in the photos.

The sentiment is from an old “Verve” stamp set.

I’m back with a reminder for the November Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge!  This month our theme  is Make a Scene!! But as always you can play along with Anything Goes!! I hope you will find time to join in!

As usual, we are sponsored by the awesome.

I chose to make a snowglobe shaker card for my scene card today.

To start I cut the snowdome die using the from a panel for the card front, a piece of fun foam for diemension and drew the shape on the actual card front.

First I stampd the snowflakes from the set randomly on the front panel using silver ink.

I then stamped the cute little image from PB – Warmth of Friendship set on the acutal card front. It was then Distress ink watercoloured.
