Heat embossing – Moments of Crafting

Hello and welcome

I’m back with a new Challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge! The theme is Anything Goes (Optional – Embossing.

My card uses PB – Unforgettable stamp,one I’ve had in my stash for a couple of years but haven’t used much. It was white heat embossed on watercolour paper. I then loose watercoloured using Distress Inks, and finished with some pink then white splatters. After fussy cutting it was added to a gold circle before being glued to the card front.

The sentiment is from PB – Heartfelt set using gold embossing.

It’s time for our new challenge at Time Out! We challenge you to be inspired by “Happy Holidays” !

We are joined by Verena Shapiro of simple_stamper on Instagram, and winner of Time Out #273 as Guest Designer.

For my card this time I chose some of the elegant images and sentiments from Pink Fresh “Deck the Halls” stamp set. I just love it!

I chose to use Gold heat embossing to add that wonderful elegant, luxury look to the card. With the dark background and teal blues, I thought gold was the perfect choice to help the deicate images to pop.

The images were then coloured using Prismacolor pencils.
