WWC219 – Heidi’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge

Hello and welcome

This week at Watercooler Wednesday, it’s Heidi’s Feminine “Anything Goes” Challenge.

I hope you can find the time to join in.
Image may contain: one or more people, text that says "WWC219 Heidi's Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge"Just for a change (and a challenge) I brought out my Prismacolor Pencils this week.

This pretty flower stem was stamped in Distress Ink and coloured with the pencils. I looked up the colours for fushias as a colour guide. This set is Technique Tuesday – Fushia.

I think it turned out ok.  Still more practice required I think.

Anyway, it was so pretty, I decided to keep the card CAS and let the flowers be the main focus. So I just used my Scoreboard to add some scored lines top and bottom.

The old looking typed sentiment if from Hero Arts – Hero Florals Rose  Stem.

Don’t forget to head over to our blog to check out the wonderful inspiration from the rest of our Design Team.

I look forward to seeing what you create this week!

Cheers

Helen

I live in sunny Queensland, Australia with my husband and daughter. Since I was a child, I have always loved to create and have enjoyed all kinds of crafts, sewing and painting. China painting helped develop my understanding of colour and design. Over the last few years card making has taken up a major part of my crafting time as I love to play with new techniques and mediums. Since beginning my blog, entering various challenges has encouraged me to grow my skills and creativity.

  1. Helen, your fuchsia flowers are GORGEOUS!!! What a great job you did coloring them. I like the embossed lines at the top and bottom of your card – they really add elegance to an already perfect card! -Donna
