Thanks so much to Art Impressions to select my card for an Honourable Mention for my card in the Gotta Gingham Challenge #262.
Hello and welcome
It’s time for the next challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday. Heidi is hosting the “All About Occasions” Challenge.
I hope you can find the time to join in.
This week I’m playing with another Art Impressions stamp set – Five Whoots Set.
I started by stamping the image and colouring the owls with Distress Inks.
Next I stamped and fussy cut the owls again to make a mask.
After masking the owls, I using Wild Honey Distress Ink, to ink a section behind the owls for a moon. Placing a circle mask over the colour, ensured it remained when the Distress Inks were added to the rest of the panel to make a night sky. Some water spray, white acrylic paint splatters and some sliver pen spots were then added to finish the sky.
After removing the masks, each owl’s hat was stamped individually on small piece of check DP, fussy cut and glued over the stamped hats.
The panel was then cut down and added to the card front which has been covered with check DP along with the sentiment strip.
Don’t forget to head over to our blog to check out the wonderful inspiration from the rest of our Design Team.
I look forward to seeing what you create this week!
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit. I love to read your comments.
Have a great day
Cheers
Helen
